Common Sense Tips From Experts
I like to find experts in niche areas. Having worked with about 300 non fiction authors over the years who were experts in their fields, I developed an appreciation for expertise. Now, if I want to know something, I find someone who has been doing THAT exact activity long enough to know the ropes.
Hence this series was borne. See, what happens to me (and maybe to you) is that not a week goes by where I don’t have an “aha” moment on copywriting, PR, search, etc and figure I must be late to the party. Then a seasoned expert on the subject will come out with a blog post or video explaining the same “obvious” conclusion.
I don’t claim expertise in areas where I don’t genuinely feel I have achieved results. Theory does not an expert make. So I like to find people who’ve been plugging away at learning something we all want to know about — and share what they’ve discovered.
So .. each time I find an excellent piece of information by a true expert, I’ll cover it.
So this series will cover subjects from public relations, publicity, media relations, copywriting, advertising, marketing, sales, internet marketing — basically, any subject that relates to the steps up to attracting and keeping customers.
